The &#8220;Biharea&#8221; yearbook is the specialized magazine of the ethnography and art sections of \u021a\u0103rii Cri\u0219urilor Museum, containing studies and materials on ethnology, cultural anthropology, folk art, folklore, aesthetics and art theory, decorative art, fine art, museography, restoration and conservation.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Biharea<\/strong><\/em> journal is present in the collections of the National Library of Romania, the National Library of the Republic of Moldova, as well as in 34 public, museums and university libraries in Romania. Until 2015 the journal was indexed in the ERIH database and is currently indexed only in SCIPIO &#8211; Scientific Publishing.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Biharea<\/strong><\/em> journal does not charge for publication.<\/p>\n<h3>Access policy, copyright, license<\/h3>\n<p><em><strong>Biharea<\/strong><\/em> journal offers <strong>open and direct access<\/strong> to the published articles to its readers, respecting the principle of free access to science and knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>The authors agree that <em><strong>Biharea<\/strong><\/em> journal has the right of first publication of the submitted article. Authors have the right to publish the article on their personal website or on other websites, making reference to the first publication. Authors retain the copyright of the articles without restrictions.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Biharea<\/strong><\/em> uses the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>CC BY-NC-ND<\/strong><\/span> license of Creative Commons. Therefore, other users are only entitled to download and use the article if they cite the author and the magazine where the material was first published. In the first period &#8220;Biharea&#8221; was a yearbook in which were published works of specialists from the country, as well as those from the ethnography and art sections of the Oradea museum. Between 1983 and 1990, as the \u021a\u0103rii Cri\u0219urilor Museum was forced to have only one yearbook, &#8220;Biharea&#8221; would appear as an extract of the Crisia Journal (except in the first year, 1983, when it did not appear at all). Since 1991 things have returned to normal, to their natural state, &#8220;Biharea&#8221; becoming a publication in its own right, with a wide intellectual scope, open to contributors from home and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The declared aim of the journal is to publish the results of ethnographic and artistic research, through studies and material relating primarily to the north west- part of Romania but also to other cultural areas of our country.
